Katie Dunning

Katie joined Folio Partners in February 2026 as a Bookkeeper. She has hands-on experience across practice bookkeeping, including Xero-based workflows, VAT submissions and reconciliations. Earlier in her career, Katie worked in a global markets futures operations department at a leading international bank, developing a strong foundation in financial controls, reporting and working within fast-paced, high-accuracy environments. After spending time travelling and starting a family, she chose to return to the accounting and finance profession with a clear focus on building a long-term career in the field.

Alongside her role, Katie is currently studying towards a BSc (Hons) in Accounting and Finance with the Open University. She was drawn to Folio’s modern, relationship-led approach and the opportunity to continue developing while supporting growing businesses.

Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and, when she can, fitting in time at the gym around a busy home life alongside her career and studies.
