Bijal Shah

Bijal joined Folio in May 2024, keen to return to practice accounting after working as a Financial Controller in industry for 4 years. She qualified as ACCA in 2000 and had worked in practice for 7 years then before starting her own venture, however, after successfully selling her own manufacturing business she realised that she missed working on variety of clients and was keen to return to the practice environment.

She grew up in Kenya and has been passionate about mathematics and accounting since her school days. Professionally, she is the happiest when she is deep inside a set of accounts where the numbers are able to reveal the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of each business.

Bijal enjoys working in Folio that champions autonomy and allows everyone to build relationships with their clients.

In her spare time she loves skiing, hiking and travelling with her family and friends. Bijal is also an avid cook and baker, which have always been a passion of hers.
