Bijal joined Folio Partners in May 2024, keen to return to practice accounting after working as a Financial Controller in industry for over 10 years. She qualified as an ACCA member in 2000, spent seven years in practice, then joined her family manufacturing business, which then went on to sell successfully.
As a fellow member (FCCA), she brings both deep technical grounding and real-world entrepreneurial experience to her role at Folio, where she's back doing what she enjoys most: working across a broad and varied client base.
She grew up in Kenya and has been passionate about mathematics and accounting since her school days. Professionally, she is the happiest when she is deep inside a set of accounts where the numbers are able to reveal the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities of each business.
What Bijal values most about Folio is its culture of autonomy and the opportunity to build lasting relationships with clients.
In her spare time she loves skiing, hiking, baking and travelling with her family and friends.
